Hi Amla!

I created this fun little landing page just for you for the Product Marketing Manager position!

I’ve put together a few things that I think will be of specific interest for this position, but you can also find the full portfolio in the nav bar if you are so inclined, as well as more information about me and my skills & abilities.

Fun Fact: I’m an artist, writer, and a tech native coming from the world of data. I’ve had my hands in learning, exploring, and using technology for the better part of two decades. Whether that’s learning CSS/HTML and building (I typed it all by hand, what a time to be alive) a (probably illegal) MP3 rotation website in 2006 (I got to #3 on Google for relevant search terms through the expert use of webrings (remember webrings?)) and networking; writing technical documentation to help users with different levels of expertise understand and use their technology; or getting way too into World of Warcraft to the point of running stats on different gear and different specs to make sure I had the most optimal build for tanking, I’m a natural at understanding and taking complex technical concepts and translating them into words the everyday person can understand and find value in.

I apologize for the liberal use of parentheses. Consider it a ✨ stylistic choice ✨

  • The GTM Strategy Development page details the go-to-market strategy I developed for the Archilogic, a very innovative and complex platform that takes floor plans and turns them into data so they can integrate with other systems and provide analytics that previously weren’t possible in the industry. I worked very closely with the Product team in the execution and iterating of the strategy, keeping up to date on the roadmap and working with Product Managers to explore different ways of leveraging upcoming feature releases and how to market them.

  • Marketing Campaigns 101 is a presentation I created to help explain what goes into a marketing campaign for the software developers I worked with so they had some transparency into what was going on. There is a fun metaphor in there about raccoons. I’d check this out purely for the raccoons, honestly. I’ve been told I make a lot of metaphors involving raccoons, so I hope Amla likes raccoons.

  • Company Personas Strategy is a presentation developed to define and explain the different strategies for approaching 3 specific personas our company identified as key targets.

  • Interview Presentation is something I created in preparation for the interview for Archilogic (I got the job, if you couldn't tell) - it has a few things that are relevant.

    1. More general philosophy and strategy for marketing campaigns, in addition to research I did prior to the job on potential prospects and how I would approach them

    2. How I approach my first 90 days in any position.

  • Web Copy for Archilogic includes the content written in collaboration with the Product team to create targeted landing pages for different use cases and industries, as well as the revamp of the Archilogic front page to better reflect the most recent product offerings.

Just For Fun/More Technical Documents

Although these are less marketing-focused and lean toward tech writing, I thought they might be interesting to look through. Some of them are quite old, so let’s think of it as a blast from the past and proof of a storied history.

  • The Custom CRM using Airtable I put together for one of my agency jobs because HubSpot was too expensive at the time and they were doing everything in Google Sheets.

  • BDR/Sales Playbook is a template of the playbooks we would create for each client at a previous job. The template was created by me, including Zoho CRM usage instructions, and would be filled in by me with company data obtained during the onboarding process.

  • getemail.io Process is something I created back in 2019 to help explain to new sales & operations team members how to prepare a spreadsheet for import to a specific website for validation/searching, including how to clean the data.

  • Keeping Your Computer Safe is something I made way back in the day (2009!!) for a coworker who kept getting an impressive amount of viruses - it was truly stunning.
